Privacy Policy

The short version

We don't collect your dog's name, age, breed, or any personal information from the calculator. Everything you enter stays in your browser. We don't have accounts, we don't track individuals, and we don't sell anything about you.

What we do collect

Anonymous analytics

We use anonymous analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages are popular, and roughly where visitors come from (country level). This data is aggregated and cannot identify you personally. We use this to decide what to improve and what content to write.

Advertising cookies

If we run ads on the site (we may, to help keep the calculator free), our advertising partners may set cookies to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance. Google is our primary advertising partner. You can learn more about Google's advertising practices at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Standard server logs

Our hosting provider automatically logs standard information like IP addresses and user agents to prevent abuse and keep the site running. These logs are deleted on a rolling basis and we don't use them to identify individuals.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Since we intentionally don't collect personal data, this is usually not applicable — but if you have a question, reach out via our contact page.

Children

Our site is for general audiences and not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll change the "last updated" date at the top and, for significant changes, add a notice on the homepage.
